Inspired Fantasy Makeup

Hi everyone! So today I was inspired to do something a bit different by one of my favorite youtube girls, Taylor, from beeisforbeeauty. She does amazing makeup looks and even more amazing Halloween / special effects makeup. She's such a nice girl and her videos are awesome! If you haven't checked her out yet click here! You won't be disappointed! So she posted a picture on her Instagram the other day of some beautiful fantasy makeup that she did and it totally inspired me. You can see the picture here. Or on her Instagram beeisforbeeauty

So if you'd like to see how I got this inspired fantasy mermaid-y look click below! Hope you enjoy!

I wanted to say I'm not trying to copy her, I was just inspired by the beautiful makeup she did!

All the colors I used for this are from my Shany Cosmetics Bold and Bright Palette which I love!

So I started with a NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk. I applied that under my brow and on the inner corner of my eye and lower lash line, then blended it out with my finger.

Then I took a very frosted white color and applied it to my brow bone to highlight. I wanted it to be super shimmery so I used a Glamour Doll Eyes sample I have in Angel Wings.

Next, I took a mint green shade and applied it where I applied Milk on my inner corner. I've already used this shade so much! It's beautiful.

Then I took a color just a few shader darker and applied it to the middle of my lid..

I then took a purple shade, and applied that to the outer corner of my eye, and along my lower lash line. Blend blend blend!

Apply sme black liner to your lower lash line, I used Urban Decays 24/7 in Perversion.

To finish up.. I applied a liquid liner to my top lashes and Red Cherry lashes in #106. I then took some scrapbook gems and applied one to the inner corners of my eye, one at the end of each brow, and 3 along the edge of the purple shade. Mine were slightly sticky on the back, but if you planned on wearing them out all night lash glue would be needed. I did have some Khroma Glimmer lashes on my bottom lash line, but thought it took away from the Red Cherry lashes and took them off and opted for mascara.

Here's the finished look! For the rest of my face I used Garnier BB cream and bare minerals foundation. Maybelline Define-A-Brow, a very light combination of purple eyeshadows to contour and Revlons Nude Attitude lipstick with Chapstick on top. I also took a picture with the inner rhinestones removed and thought it looked great too! It's all about what you prefer!

I hope you enjoyed this inspired tutorial! You could really go so many different ways with a look like this. My best friend wants to be a mermaid for Halloween and I'm thinking of doing something along these lines for her eyes. Again if you haven't checked out beeisforbeeauty please do! Thanks Taylor for the inspiration, and you all for reading!
