So this is something I've done two years in a row and this years is a great improvement from last. It's also a lot easier than it looks. You basically just apply a white shadow or cream all over the face, apply black all in your eye socket area, jaw and nose. Draw some teeth and do some shading. I've seen some absolutely STUNNING skull looks that mine can't even compare to, I will keep practicing though!
This one was ridiculously easy because I basically did nothing. It's done with a product called rigid collodion from Mehron. All you do is draw a line where you want the "scar" with a lip liner, and apply the product layer by layer, letting it dry between layers. It tightens the skin and creates a scar effect. You need about ten layers to get the effect and the more you apply the better it looks. Petrilude on YouTube has a very informative video on this stuff If you wanna check it out. :)
This one is pretty self explanatory. I just drew a big ass spider web on my chest, and went over it with a bright purple shadow. I made my brows thick and black, did a dark dramatic smoky eye. And lavender lips with black liner.malao emphasized my beauty mark with some liner!
As for this one, it was my first time using liquid latex. I wanted to create a burn so I used a bit of tissue and applied it to my neck with liquid latex. I let it dry a bit them started pulling it from the center to create little holes and rips. From there I just applied some black shadow into the "holes" and lots of red shadow and blood.
For this I used a product called "Creepy Skin" which honestly looked like chewed up flesh in the little plastic thing it came it. I didn't know what to expect when I bought it for $3.00 at the Halloween store, but it was kind of cool. Whatever it's made out of is very sticky but also seems to have cotton in it? I have no idea. I think it's trying to be a knock off of scar wax which I really wanted but didn't buy. I just smushed some on my skin and applied some foundation over it. Then created a cut in it with the tip of a toothpick. Applied some blood gel and regular blood and that was it. Looking at it now I could have done a bit more with the blood but hey.
So those are some looks I did this year. I know this is kind of pointless because halloween is tomorrow but you know.. :) hope you enjoyed this post, thank you so much for reading!
