My Winged Liner

Yay two posts in one day! I'm making up for lost time. I had a question from my Aunt Crystal (Hi, love you!) about how I do my winged liner. So I thought what better way to show than a blog post! So if you would like to see my method for my winger liner, please click below!!

To start, the liquid liner I use is Wet n Wild Mega Liner. It's about 2 dollars at the drugstore, and it has a brush tip. I prefer a brush tip to a felt tip because I have quite wrinkly eyelids and I find all felt tip liners just tug too much. Brush tips glide much easier over my lids. But that's just personal preference. Also, this liner dries quickly and is a very black, matte finish. Which I love! Experiment and see what you like!

1. I start in the center of my lid, kind of laying the brush across my eye and just pulling it to the outer corner. It doesn't matter if you get all the way in the outer corner, you'll fill it in later.

2. With what is left on the brush, i take it all the way to my inner corner and drag it to where we started.

3. Now, angle the brush upwards pointing towards the end of your brow, draw a line down towards your lower lashline, this will be the outside of your wing!

4. Next, starting from the tip of the line you just made, drag the brush down and connect it with the liner on your lashline. This is the tricky part, you want to make sure you angle the line enough so it ends up flush with the line. As you can see in the picture above, it's not really. But you can always go over it and fix it up! At this point you'll need to fill in any little gaps that are peaking through.

So, it's not perfect, but it's how I do it and I'm always happy with my results! You can always tweak it, adding a little.. Or taking a pointed cosmetic q-tip and some makeup remover and making a sharper edge or point. It's all up to you! You can make it longer, shorter, thicker or thinner!

I hope this was informative! I've been using this line for.. 5 years? It's really my favorite. I use to use the urban decay liner before they changed the packaging and I don't like it now. I hope they never stop making this one because I love it! Thank you all so much for reading!!
