Sonia Kashuk Lavish Luxe Brush Set Review

Hi there, today I'm going to review a recent purchase, the Sonia Kashuk Lavish Luxe Brush Set. I've been wanting to purchase another brush set but couldn't bring myself to purchase a Sigma one. When I saw this one, I knew I had to have it! It's a limited edition set and I'm assuming it will be available through the Holidays at Target! If you want to see my review on this, click below!

This kit contains 10 brushes.

-Domed Powder Brush

-Synthetic Pointed Foundation Brush

-Duo-fiber Fan Brush

- Large Shader Brush

- Angled Crease Brush

- Pointed Blending Brush

- Synthetic Concealer Brush

- Brow Brush

- Precision Liner Brush

- Brow Groomer/Lash Comb

All the brushes in this set have long, gold handles, with Sonia Kashuk printed on the ferrules and SK embossed on the base. They remind me of makeup brushes that maybe my grandma would have used. Old Hollywood and fancy :) which I suppose some people may not like but I do! they all have a nice weight to them and do not feel cheap at all! Very well constructed.

Face Brushes

Eye Brushes, with the exception of the brow groomer.

Individual Brushes

I'll preface by saying: All of these brushes with the exception of one are very soft! I don't want to sound redundant by saying it for every brush, haha!

Domed Powder Brush- In my opinion you can never have too many powder brushes. This one is noticeably smaller than my Sigma one, which is gigantic. I look forward to using it for powder, blush or bronzer!

Synthetic Pointed Foundation Brush- I don't think I will ever use this for foundation, but I think it will be great for blending under eye concealer.

Duo Fiber Fan Brush- I've never owned a fan brush but Ive always wanted one. I know they're good for sweeping away fallout and highlighting.

Pointed Blending Brush- Blending brushes are another brush I feel you can't have too many of. This one is a little smaller than my sigma one and it is pointed so I think it will do a great job of really getting into my crease.

Large Shader Brush- Just repeating myself here, you can never have too many shader brushes either! I actually don't currently have a good one, ive somehow misplaced them. I've been using an ELF small angled contour brush to apply my lid colors. I think this one will work great for packing color onto the lid :)

Synthetic Concealer Brush- I never usually use concealer brushes for the purpose of concealing. I do like to use them to highlight under my brows or applying primer to my lid! I think this one will be great for that.

Brow Brush- This is the only brush that is not soft at all. Also it's the only brush I've actually tried so far. But I don't think softness matters for its purpose. When I first saw it I thought it was a liner brush, until I felt it. It's very sharp. So immediately I had to try to fill in my brows with it and I couldn't even feel the scratchiness. It filled them in wonderfully. It's quite dense so it packs the color in well. I usually use a pencil to fill my brows but I might have to switch back to powder and this brush!

Precision Liner Brush- I've had a couple brushes like this, and I never use them for liner. I just feel they're too large. They work well for applying color under the lower lashes though!

Angled Crease Brush- I have an ELF version of this brush I mentioned earlier, but it's larger so I use it on the lid instead of the crease. Since this one is smaller I think it would work well in my crease. If not, I can always use it for the lid or highlighting!

Brow Groomer- I never use these. I have a mascara spoolie I always use to comb my brows. This is the only brush out of the set i don't particularly care for.

I decided these pretty brushes needed their own home. So I took an old candle jar and filled it with poly beads.

So I have great first impressions of these brushes. From other reviews I've read, they hold up after washing and are good brushes. I've tried only one other Sonia Kashuk brush before and liked it. I got this whole set for only $30.00 which works out to only $3.00 a brush. Super great deal in my opinion! I'll keep you guys updated on now I end up using and liking these! :) Thank you so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed my post!
