Sleek Pout Paint Review

Hi! Third day in a row posting! I'm keeping it up! Today I wanted to tell you about Sleek Pout Paints. I've wanted to try Sleek Makeup for some time now. They have a lot of beautiful eyeshadow palettes and blushes, but I have so many colorful eyeshadows and blushes.I decided to go with something I don't have anything like. Enter Pout Paints. If you want to see what I think of these, click below!

Sleek Pout Paints could be considered a liquid lipstick, or a very pigmented gloss.

This is how Sleeks Website describes them: "..highly pigmented lip stain like no other. It provides full coverage that is light weight, non sticky and extremely buildable. It is made to be mixed, we're pretty sure you'll want more than one colour."

I bought four shades because of course I wanted more than one: L to R:

Pinkini-Bright Rasberry Pink

Cloud 9-True White

Milkshake-Bright Coral

Minx-Peachy Nude.

They are packaged in a tube, and can fit in the palm of my hand. So they're kind of on the small side, but a little goes a long way. I forgot to photograph this, but the product comes out of a little pointed opening.. Similar to UD primer potion. So you need to use a brush for application. You could use your finger but I haven't even tried that, seems way too messy to me. Needing to use a brush does make for a more tedious application, so keep that in mind. If you're looking for a super quick, apply on the go product this probably isn't your best bet.

Swatch Time!

Minx

Milkshake

Pinkini omg, so sloppy! Sorry!

I didn't swatch Cloud 9 on my lips because I never plan to wear it alone on my lips. I bought it for mixing purposes. Which is what intrigued my most about these little gems. You can really create endless color combinations!

Pinkini + Cloud 9

Minx + Cloud 9

You can really adjust the the shade you get depending on the amount of each product you mix.

Pros

-I found these very smooth and buttery! They really glided onto my lips with ease. It didn't even bother me that I needed to use a lip brush. They didn't settle into my lip lines. I have horrendously dry lips this time of year and they didn't dry them out further. Or really cling to my dry patches.

- I've been looking for a color like Milkshake forever that would look nice on me. Most coral shades I try just don't look flattering but this one did! In fact, I found all the shades and even the ones I mixed to be flattering to me.

-Very Pigmented!

- Not sticky at all.

- Affordable, $7.50.

- Lasted around 3-4 hours on me.

Cons

-Not available in US stores, I ordered mine from Sleepmakeup.com.

-Not so much a con, but after a few hours the lighter shades faded a bit patchy. Pinkini looked great though! They do eventually dry, but honestly I can't remember how long it took to dry completely to a stain.

- They bled slightly, more so with Pinkini, nothing a Lipliner didn't fix though.

- I did notice when I first got them, the first little bit that came out was just clear liquid. So they need to be squished around before the first use, or if you haven't touched them in a while. Or you could just shake the tube up. Whatever works for you. See Cloud 9 swatch, I just didn't get it mixed up enough. If you can't get it mixed, I think a quick fix would be buying little pots and depotting them. I'm not sure if they would dry up though.

So there's good and not so good but I am quite happy with them! I think they're fun and unique and Im loving mixing up different colors. There is 11 colors avaliable. Like I said, I paid 7.50 each and they shipped in just under 2 weeks. Which I think is good for coming from overseas! I have heard they are similar to OCC lip tars but not a dupe. If you want to try out a different kind of lip product, I recommend these! Have you tried these and what did you think?! Or! If your an avid Sleek user what should I try next?

I hope you all enjoyed this post, thank you for reading!!
