Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask Review

Hi there! Today I wanted to do a review on a product I've been using, the Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask. Bite Beauty was just recently brought to my Sephora and I knew I wanted to try this when I first heard about it. If you want to see what I think about it, click below.

This winter has been exceptionally horrible for my already dry lips. I can't tell you how often I applied Chapstick, lipbalms and carmex. Nothing seemed to be helping. Enter this stuff.

Bites Agave Lip Mask is made with "natural Food grade" ingrediants. The product comes in a very sturdy tube, think superglue. You have to pierce the opening with the top of the cap to open it. It is a very thick consistency. Clear, but with a slight yellow tint. Similar to Vaseline. It has a pleasant vanilla scent and taste. It doesn't make my lips tingle, I've read a few other reviews where people had a tingling warm sensation. I haven't experienced anything like this. Surprisingly it doesn't feel sticky at all on my lips. I have a love hate relationship with this stuff.

I love that it's basically the only thing that's helped my dry lips. Even just after having it on for an hour my lips had improved. I love that it lasts for hours on my lips. I can apply it before bed and it will pretty much stay on throughout the night. I love the smell and taste, and that a little goes a long way. I've been using this for about 2 weeks, at least once a day, and my lips have improved soo much. I haven't been able to find a product that works this well until now.

Now to the "hate" part. I hate that it's $26.00. Like what. Also, the packaging isn't amazing. Since it's in a metal tube it can be a bit of a bitch to squeeze out. But you only need a bit. The only time I had a real big problem squeezing it out was when I left it in my car in the freezing cold for like 4 hours, not cool.

So it's really expensive.. You get .52oz for $26.00. But it works for me. I'm the kind of girl that's willing to splurge on an item if I think it's good quality! If I find another product that's cheaper and works just as well I would obviously choose that. But since you need only a little, I don't see myself running out of this anytime soon. I've been really enjoying this, and so have my lips. It's definately a luxury item but if you're suffering but terribly dry cracked lips, I highly suggest trying this out!

Also, I've started an Instagram specifically for my makeup looks. I'd love it you'd follow me: neenersmakeup :) I hope you enjoyed my post, thank you all so much for reading! I love you all!

  4. THis is pricey but I have such chapped lips in the winter that I have been debating shelling out for this. Good to know it worked for you.
