L'Oreal Telescopic Shocking Extensions Review!

Hello there. I was going through my makeup collection yesterday and I realized.. I only own one mascara. I know this sounds absolutely insane coming from someone who is obsessed with makeup. A few months ago if you would have asked me I would have said 20. I came to my senses and purged a bunch of old makeup. I've been using Benefits They're Real and I was loving it, but I wanted to try something new. I like to have options. I almost picked this mascara up a few times but talked myself out of it everytime.

Nicole you do not need this mascara! You have a great one! Go buy more colorful eyeshadow!

Yeah, basically my inner dialogue every time I was at the store. I had been seriously neglecting my lashes by substituting with falsies. Anyway, something struck me today while I was in CVS (probably my 5 dollar off coupon) I had heard so many great things about this mascara and today was the day! So if you would like to see my review of this mascara, click below!

Nails Inc. Leather Effect Review!

So I was making an online Sephora purchase the other day and I needed to add about $6.00 to my cart to get free shipping, so of course I checked out the nail polish section. I wanted to try something new. When I came across this, I knew I had to have it! Textured polishes are the new thing, and so far they've been hit or miss for me. I tried a turquoise one from another brand and it may have just been the color, but it looked horrible on me. It was super gritty too, I couldn't handle it. When I looked up reviews on this polish, it seemed much less gritty and was totally awesome looking. So I added this to my cart for $11.00. It's totally worth it in my opinion. I got black, of course. You can't go wrong with a black leather jacket, same goes for nails!

Lets talk about the actual bottle first, so cute right? Speaks for itself. From Sephoras website: "This polish applies glossy but dries down into a chic leather look without the need for a topcoat." I have never tried any other Nails Inc polishes, but i always find myself swooning over them at Sephora. I'm so glad I finally decided to buy one! This polish really does look like leather! It obviously has a slight texture but it doesn't bother me at all! One coat and it was opaque! I'm totally in love. They have cream, coral, mint, gray and black shades. I plan on purchasing the gray shade as well, love gray leather. So if your interested in an awesome textured polish, I highly suggest this one!

I just love it. It makes me feel badass. Are you guys loving this textured polish trend? Thanks so much for reading!

Golden Bronze Eye Look

I believe this is my first tutorial that isn't colorful. I know a lot of color isn't everyone's thing but I really love it. This is something I'd wear if I was going for a more neutral look. It looks great with blue eyes too! I'm going to be doing it a bit differently, because its such a simple look. Click below to see how I did this!

August Favorites!

Hi there! Today I'm doing my August favorites. I love Summer so much, but I'm glad fall is coming! It's chilly here today, I cannot wait to wear boots! And drink hot chai tea! So let's get to my favorite products this month..

1. Simple cleansing wipes. I bought these originally to keep at my boyfriends house but they have yet to make it there. They remove makeup so well! I needed an alternative to my beloved Sephora makeup remover and I had heard good things about these. I will always use my Sephora remover but I will continue to purchase these as well.

2. Hoola Bronzer by Benefit. Guys. This stuff is great! I was skeptical about buying a high end bronzer when I first purchased it but I'm so glad I did. It's the perfect shade for me to contour with and it lasts all day. I've had this for well over 6 months and I have yet to hit pan. I featured this in my first post "All Time Favorites." It has a well deserved spot there.

3. Milani Luminoso Baked Blush. I own one other Milani Baked Blush and I love it, it's just a tad dark. This is the perfect coral shimmery blush for summer. It gives you a beautiful glow and looks great with my skin tone. I've been on a blush kick lately and I believe I have this blush to thank!

4. L'Oreal True Match Concealer. I use this to brighten my under eye area, it looks fabulous. It's very blendable and doesn't get cakey on me! I set it with my ELf HD powder and I'm always very happy with the results.

5. NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk. I've had this forever and haven't really used it a lot this month. I've been using a lot of bright, fun colors and just a bit of this really makes the colors pop! I have to be careful with it because I hear If you use too much it can crease, but I have never run into that problem. Love this!

6. Black Nails! The polish in the picture is Rimmel Black Satin, but I've just really been loving black nails. I wore them for over a week straight which is unheard of in my world. I change my polish like, every 3 days. Black nails will never go out of style in my opinion! Just like little black dresses for your nails!

7. Purple Covergirl Eyeshadow #455. I used this shadow quite a bit this month, I just wore it to a cocert last week. I used this shadow in my Purple Smokey Eye Look too. When I first bought it, I was indifferent on it, but I totally love it now! Purple is my favorite color, and this is a great purple eyeshadow, plus it was only 3 dollars I believe!. Can't beat it.

8 Sigma Flat Top Kabuki Brush F80. I love Sigma brushes! I own 2 sets and I use them religiously. This one inparticular I found myself reaching for a lot lately. I've found so many uses for it but lately my favorite way to use it is for buffing in my mineral foundation. It makes it look flawless!

Just for kicks I figure ill throw in some extra favorites. Just so you guys can get to know me more!

My favorite food is the month: I'd say is stir-fry. I was making it all the time!

Tv show: Rules of Engagement, I've just started watching it this month and I think it's hilarious. It's a cheesy sitcom but I do love those!

Movie: Both Despicable Me movies, so cute!

Music: I've so been loving my HIM they have long since been my favorite band but I finally got to see them in concert last week and I'm absolutely in love all over again. Can't get enough.

Book: Bobbi Brown Makeup Manual!

So those were my favorites for the month of August. Bring it on September! I'll have a tutorial for you guys tomorrow, ias always thanks so much for reading!!

Daily Makeup Organization.

For today's post I wanted to show you all how I organize the makeup I use most often. Before this little setup I had all my makeup stuffed into a makeup bag and that bugged the hell out of me. I love my makeup and I felt it should be on display! I do still have a lot of makeup in makeup bags in my drawers, but I will tackle that later. For now, I have the makeup I use the most organized and I'm really happy with it. Click below to see how I did it!

So I'll start with something not in the above picture. I found this cute little set of acrylic cups at Meijer for about 5 dollar and knew it would be really useful. Before I had these I was using small drinking glasses and that's just not practical. In the cup on the right I have all my "tools" tweezers, lash curler, spoolie, kiss lash tweezers, and some small scissors. The other cup houses all the pencils I have, lip and eye. I have tons of different ones.. Revlon, NYX, Ulta Brand, Rimmel ect. Next to that I have a bottle of my favorite perfume, Viva La Juicy. And finally I have a ceramic pig I made when I was about 10 that holds my q-tips. I know I'm an artist..

I think this is the piece I'm most excited about. I keep my main face and lip products in this. On the left side I've got some Maybelline Color Whispers, a NYX gloss, Too Faced lipstick (my favorite nude lipstick) Too Faced lip insurance, an ELf lip exfoliator (I plan to do a review on this soon!) my lash glue that's missing its cap as of yesterday, eyebrow pencils, and a NYX brow powder. In the middle section I have some NYX primer, Garnier BB cream, a UD Naked skin sample pack, MUFE powder, liquid eyeliner, a few concealers, Porefessional, Mineral foundation and my Bronzer. On the right side a few more concealers, my mascara and eyeliner, Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk and Benefits Watts Up. I keep floss picks in the little jeweled box next to this. I can put a variety of items in this piece which I like so I have some options of what I want to use.

Next I have this cute set of drawers. They're tiny, but useful. Top drawer I have a Nars blush, Elf golden Bronzer, an Elf quad, and some NYX roll on shimmers. These are beautiful! I will probably use them in an upcoming tutorial. Second drawer I keep my much loved paint pot, 2 milani baked blushes (gorgeous) the brush that came in the Hoola Bronzer, and 2 Hard Candy loose pigments. In the bottom drawer I keep 4 L'Oreal Infallible Eye Shadows, 2glitter liners, and a Chapstick. I keep a pack of Simple brand Makeup remover wipes on top of this. And to the left of it I keep my Elf HD powder and an EOS lip balm.

So there you have it. That's how I organized the makeup I reach for the most. Obviously I don't wear all of these products every single day, that would be nuts. And I'm sure this will change up sooner or later, but for now it works and I'm happy with it! Much better than a little bag full of makeup on my counter! Now if i could only organize the rest of my collection.. How do you ladies organize yours? Thanks for reading!!
