Hello! Today I have a drugstore haul for you. I went for one thing and came back with 5, it happens.
This is what I originally went to purchase. The Olay ProX Advanced Cleansing System Facial Brush. I've been on a "I need to take better care of my skin! " kick. I've wanted to try the Clarisonic brush for a long time but I really can't justify spending 125$ on it. My friend told me this works just as well, and it's only 30$. So I took a chance and bought it. Now I know the Clarisonic has different brushes for different skin types, and I'm pretty sure this one does not.. Which is a con. But I really just wanted to try one of these face scrubber brushes out and if I end up really loving it, maybe I will invest in the Clarisonic one day. I've used it twice, and felt my face had never been cleaner after using it! So I'm liking it so far :)
Next I got this Almay Brow Defining Pencil in Brunette. I've come to realize all the brow pencils I own are too light, so I needed one more fit for me. I usually use the Maybelline Define-a-brow..but they didn't have a shade any darker than medium brown, which I already have. I actually like this one better because it has a spoolie on the end as opposed to a little comb. Win.
I also picked up this Maybelline Baby Lips Dr. Rescue in Too Cool. I love these! I have another in Just Peachy, but i wanted the clear one for nighttime use. I own a ton of baby lips but these are by far my favorite because I feel they actually do something for my lips. I'll admit I bought most of the other ones because the packaging is too cute and they are very inexpensive. I love the menthol tingly cooling feeling these give me. I do feel my lips have softened so much since I bought these. I'll probably end up with them all because I'm nuts.
NYX single eyeshadow in White. If you read my ELF Haul, you'll know my favorite highlight shade is the matte white from the 1$ Drama Quad. You'll also know that I repurchased and was very disappointed because it's nothing like the original one I have.. So I bought this. It's not as great as my ELF one, but it works just fine for me! Plus is a ton more product and these are like, 4$.
Finally, this Sally Hansen polish in Green With Envy. Simply because it's Halloween time, and I do not own a lime green polish. And that, is reason enough for me! My poor, once beautiful fingernails, have suffered 4 losses this week and work. I'm trying to nurse them back to health so I can paint them this wonderful color. Wish me luck.
So there's my haul. I haven't posted in two and days and I'm slightly devastated but that. So I'm hoping to have another post up tonight. I have a few posts I'm working on but sometimes things just don't go in my favor! Oh well. I hope you guys enjoyed this!

Hey there! Today's gonna be kind of a quick post. I created this look earlier and really wanted to share it with you, but unfortunately I didn't take pictures along the way so it's not going to be much of a tutorial. My Bold and Bright palette was staring me right in the face today saying play with me! So play I did. This look is really fun, colorful and dramatic. As you know, I'm not afraid of color!
I started this look,with a white base, NYX JEP in Milk, blended all over the lid. This made the colorful shadows really stand out.
Bottom two on the left picture, center on the right. Next I took a lime green shadow, and applied it to the inner third of my lid. Then I took a bright light blue and patted it on the center of my lid, then took a bright fuchsia/purply color and put that on the outer third of my lid. You're going to want to spend a bit of time blending all these shadows, since they're all so different it's going to take some effort.
Next using a matte black shadow on a tiny blending brush and blended it into my crease, all the way towards the inner corner.
Then I applied some more Milk under my brow and used a matte white shadow to highlight, dragging it down and blending with the black. I applied the purple, Blue and green shadows along my lower lashline, tight lined and applied liquid liner, falsies (Red Cherry 106) and mascara. I cleaned up the edges with a makeup wipe and concealer.
I really wish I took pictures along the way but I was kind of just going in blind and ended up with this. It's kind of similar to my Sunset Eyes look you can see here just much more dramatic.

Hello! Today I wanted to do a review on some great shadows I have, the L'Oreal Infallible 24hr shadows. I featured one of these shadows in my Navy Smoky Eye look you can see that here :)
Ok so L'Oreal says these are 24 hour, waterproof, crease resistant and fade resistant. Now, I can't speak for the 24 hour wear or the waterproof claims, but all the rest are true. I'm not really even looking for an eyeshadow to be waterproof or last 24 hours, it seems unnessicary to me.. These shadows are awesome regardless.
Let's start with the packaging, super cute. Very sleek. Love it.
Next the shadow itself, it is a pressed pigment and it's probably the softest eyeshadow I've ever encountered. When I first swatched one, I was amazed. They're so soft and blendable and just all around great quality.
With A Twist & Bronzed Taupe.
Midnight Blue & Glistening Garnet
Ahh! Do you see how beautiful these are! They're all so pigmented and shimmery. The obvious different one is With A Twist, its a little more sheer but it's such a unique color from any that I own. It looks beautiful over matte black shadow, hmm tutorial idea?! :)
One thing I wanted to talk about that I touched on in my Navy eye look was these apply better with your fingers, IMO. You can totally make them work with a brush, I just think it's a lot easier to use your finger.
This line of shadows has such a range of color, I think there is about 20, give or take. I know I've seen a few new ones in the drugstore recently.
I hope you enjoyed this little review! I really love these shadows and plan on picking up a few more in the future. They are a little on the pricey side..anywhere from 7-9 dollars is what I usually see them for, but they are totally worth it! Do you on any of these eyeshadows?!

Hi there! This is going to be a quick post. It's not so much a tutorial, but I did this cute, super simple look today and wanted to share it with you & tell you how I did it.
-I started by outlining the shape I wanted the mask to be with an angled liner brush and matte black shadow.
-Next I took a medium lavender eyeshadow and filled the whole thing in.
-Then I took a slightly darker purple shade and blended it around the inner edges.
-Next I worked on the eyes.. I blended a dark pink shadow all over the lid, the crease and the lower lashline. I lined the bottom lashline with a black liner and set it with a matte black. I used a liquid liner on the top lashline, winging it out. I applied some false lashes, the same ones I used in my navy smoky eye look I posted yesterday, which i discovered are Eyelure Naturalites Eyelashes in 120 I believe.
-I then filled in my brows, I wasn't sure if I should or not.. Since it's a mask and all.. But I did and I liked it better.
-Finally, I took some gems I bought in the scrapbook isle, and glued them all around the edge of the mask using lash glue. I used varying sizes and no real pattern.. I found the best way to do this was take a small detail brush and paint a line of lash glue and work in small sections. This part was the most time consuming.
Here's the picture with no filter, so you can see the colors better! Thats basically it. I debated on even posting this because it was so easy, but it was a lot of fun and I thought some of you would like it!
*A tip I have is apply your foundation and concealer ect before..I didn't think about this and had to improvise.
Also the lip color I used it something I made. I've really been wanted a super true lilac lip color.. I've been mulling over purchasing Limecrimes D'Lilac but I just haven't. I used NYX jumbo pencil in milk, a bright purple liner, and a little bit of Chapstick. I mixed it up in an empty shadow pan. It's working just fine!
This is a look you can do so much with, different colors, different shaped, different gems! You could add some filigree type design with black liner, really the sky's the limit with a look like this. Make it your own!

Hi there. Today I bring you an ELF haul because I still have no control over my spending. But it's ok because it's elf and it's all super cheap! The most expensive thing I bought was 5 dollars, can't beat it. I haven't browsed elfs website in a year or so, they had a lot of new products so I got a bunch of stuff to try out.
I've been meaning to get this post up for a week or so but hey. I wanted to share with you some of my favorite polish colors for this time of the year!
Going from left to right..
1. Essie "No More Film" I love love this color. It's a super dark blue. Basically a blue black. I have it on my tootsies right now and it's just a great color, especially for fall!
2. Sinful Colors "Muse" I bought this polish last year around this same time, in a halloween display. I'm not sure if it's part of the regular line but sinful colors offers so many options I'm sure they have something just like it. I wore the heck out of this last year and I probably will again this year. It's a beautiful, dark, stone grey color.
3. Rimmel "Satin Black" I've talked about this before, just a great, black polish. It's so shiny you almost don't need a topcoat. It reminds me of shiny leather. Love it. Black nails are always an excellent choice in my eyes.
4. Revlon "Fashionista" This polish is so pretty I can't even! I've used so much of it. I'll need to get another bottle soon. It's a dark turquoise blue color. It's actually almost the exact same color as my living room, that's the only reason I bought it. Then I fell in love with it!

1. Essie "Rasberry" I actually talked about this polish in my favorite pink polishes for summer. It's just such a versatile color. It really is a true Rasberry color. I usually choose this over a red polish, it's more flattering on my skin. I get a lot of use out of this polish!
2. Revlon "Bold Sangria" This polishes name describes the color perfectly, bold sangria! It's such a dark, plum Berry color and I LOVE it. This color is always in for fall.
3. Wet n Wild "Haze of Love" What a cute name right? Wet n Wild always has cute names.. I bought this polish a couple years ago and have worn it a ton. It's a perfect red wine color! My bottle is almost empty! They did change the packaging of the megalast polishes and I much prefer the new bottle and brush so I will definitely be picking up a new bottle!
4. Revlon "Cayenne" This is a great polish! It's a metallic red with some gold tones to it. It's different from all my other red polishes. I wear it a lot around christmas time, it just puts me in the spirit!
So those are just some of my favorite fall polishes. I couldn't write a blog post with them all because it would include 500 nail polishes, not really..but seriously..I hope you guys enjoyed this post, and I hope your enjoying fall so far! I know I am. I've been doing a lot of playing around with makeup and halloween looks and I really excited to show you all! I'd love to do a tutorial but it's so hard to show in pictures.. And I don't have an actual computer to edit any videos on..that's a work in progress! I'll do my best though!

So browsing Walgreens the other day, I was came across these Jordana Eyeshadow Pencils. I had read some good things about them, so I decided to pick one up in Endless Emerald. I get home, swatched it, and died. It was so so beautiful. Now, any pencil can swatch beautifully, the thing I loved so much about this was that once it set, it wouldn't budge. I rubbed as hard as I could on my hand and nothing. This stuff stays in place! As soon as I realized how magical these were I called out to my boyfriend "We have to go back to Walgreens!!! Haveeeee to!" And we did. And I bought 4 more.
The colors I bought from L-R
Eternal White, Prolong Purple, Stay-On Black, Continuous Almond & Endless Emerald.
and they all swatch beautifully!
Prolong Purple and Endless Emerald are shimmery glittery shades, the rest are matte.
I used Eternal White in my white smoky eye tutorial I posted yesterday, I only applied a little, so I got a sheer wash of color. You can really amp up the coverage of these if you apply more though. They will still completely set and go nowhere! It takes about 10 seconds for them to set, I'd say. So apply, and blend quickly!
I did this look with Prolong Purple, and just put a coordinating purple shade over top, and some pink in the crease. It really made the purple shadow stand out and look way more beautiful than it would on its own.
I have been weary of cream eyeshadows in the past, mainly because I have very oily lids. I always use sparingly when cream is involved or I will experience creasing, no matter what primer I use. With these, I used my Painterly Paint pot and for the purpose of this review, I basically covered my lid in the pencil. I blended it slightly with my finger, when I did the glitter did became a bit more apparent, but I don't mind that at all. I wore this for about 3 or 4 hours and it still looked great right before I took it off, which makes it great in my book!
I got each of these for 3.00 at my Walgreens, excellent price for an excellent product! I'm very happy with these and I think Jordana has a lot of really great products. I look forward to picking up some more of their products!
