Hi, remember me? No? That's ok I've been gone forever. I about peed when I realized the last time I blogged was January 5th, what the hell Nicole. So hey, I'm back! I have a ridiculous amount of stuff to blog about but I just keep..not blogging. I've been doing a lot of sleeping and eating so that's nice..anyway enough about me. Let's talk about my Muji drawers. I bought them just before Christmas and I'm in love. I also bought a new desk and it's seriously so beauty blogger cliche but once I get that organized ill be doing a post on it! But for now, if you want to see how I organized my lovely Muji drawers, click below!
If you're not familiar with Muji drawers, they're very popular with makeup junkies. They are affordable acrylic storage cases. I first started wanting some acrylic storage about a year ago but the only ones I could find were like 150-300 dollars..um no. I bought 2 different sizes, the 5 drawer and the large 2 drawer. The 5 drawer was 30$ and the 2 drawer 25$. The drawers on the 5 drawer are thinner than the 2, but I can still fit so much inside them. We'll start with the 5 drawer..
First drawer I keep all my favorite / most used lip products.
Second drawer fits all my eye pencils and liners.
Third drawer my mascaras, baby lips and a couple extra lip products and brow products.
Fourth is my single eyeshadows, pigments and a couple highlighters and glitters.
Last drawer is supper hodgepodge. My Naked palette and Lorac Pro palette. Primer, mascara, some concealer another highlighter I was suppose to review (lol) and a blush!
I think I like this drawer set the best. Even though they are rather slim, I still fit so many products in. Now to the 2 drawer!
This is a crappy picture, the downfalls of having my desk right in front of a window. This one holds most of my daily face products.
Up top we have a few powder foundations, blushes, bronzers, my paint pot and a random mascara. I really need to throw that one out a but a new one.. It's time is up! Underneath the MAC msf is my NYC sun n bronze, so you can see these ones are much deeper than the 5.
Second drawer has my current liquid foundation, more blushes, Chapstick, brow gel, a few primers, white eyeshadow I use for my highlight, my Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade (Review here!) and my Naked basics palette!
These are very practical and I love them a lot. The drawers do pull out all the way. They make your space look neat and organized. They stack on top of each other but I prefer them side by side. The only problem I have with them, they're was a weird plastic smell. I could smell it when I first got them, I wiped them with disinfectant wipes (lavender of course) and I couldn't smell it after. But if I actually hold them up to my face I can still faintly smell it. But other than that, they are great! Also, I think I paid about 10 dollars for shipping. They were very securely wrapped and arrived in about a week. If you've been looking for affordable storage I think these drawers are your ticket! I'm very happy with my purchase and would purchase again! Muji.us is the website.
So there's my thoughts about the Muji drawers and how I organize mine! Can we talk about how many times I typed the word "drawer?" I felt so redundant. Oh well. Also I forgot to put borders on these pictures and it's tweaking me out a bit but I'm just weird. I hope you all enjoyed this review and I thank you so much for reading and not abandoning me like I did my blog..! I love you all!
