Sephora Urban Essentials Reward

Friday night I went to Sephora because I knew I only had 20 dollars to spend to get to 500 points, and spend I did. I was so excited when I got an e-mail about this new 500 point Urban Essentials reward because I'm a total Urban Decay Junkie. If you want to see a mini review on the things inside, click below!

From left to right all deluxe sized samples:

B6 Vitamin Infused Complexion Prep Spray

All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray

Eyeshadow Primer Potion Anti-Aging Formula

Eyeshadow in Mushroom

First we will talk about this B6 spray. You can use this in various ways. Before your makeup, throughout the day for a refresher, or at night. Whenever your heart desires. I didn't know uh about the benefits of vitamin B6 so I looked on the product description and got this "Vitamin B6 helps normalize overactive cell-signaling proteins (called cytokines) to help control oil production, vitamin E provides antioxidants, and willow bark (rich in natural salicylic acid) aids cell turnover." So there you go. I used it before my makeup last night and it did feel very refreshing. I'll continue to use it because why not, good for the skin. A full size of this product is 33$ for 4oz.

Next we have the All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray. I did have this a couple years ago and never really used it. I felt it made me oily but truthfully It turns out it was a different product I was using. I've only used this sample once so I can't say much about how well works but i will keep using it and keep you informed! I hear nothing but great things about this spray, I hope I love it! Price for full size is 29$ for 4oz.

Next is the Anti-Aging Primer Potion. I will say, I have used the regular Primer Potion and the one in Eden and they just didn't work for me. My eyelids are just too oily. I regularly use MAC paint pot in painterly. I have heard if you mix the two they work amazingly. So last night I put my paint pot on first, then a light layer of this. I did like the results. I feel like my shadows looked a bit more vibrant but that may just be in my head. I think if I'm ever going to wear a super dramatic look, I'll combine the two. Price for full size is 24$ for 0.37oz

Finally we have the single eyeshadow in Mushroom. I'm in love with this color! It's a very shimmery taupe color. This swatch was done light handed with no base. It has amazing color payoff, just as any UD eyeshadow does, the sample size is the size of one of those eyeshadows you get in an 88 or 120 color palette deal. I'm very happy they included this! Even the little cardboard packaging is cute :) price for full size is 19$ For 0.05oz

And those are my thoughts on on the Urban Essentials kit. I'm so happy I saved my points up and was able to get it. I'll keep you updated on the products and how I end up liking them. I think once a month or so I'm going to do an update post of products I don't write full reviews on.

I hope you all liked this post, thank you so much for reading! It's currently storming like a S.O.B outside, here's to hoping my power stays on!
